Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate Laboratory Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and sign out negative and straightforward positive clinical
test reports
Provide high quality test results within published turn-around
times
Provide guidance for reporting and technical troubleshooting
Required Qualifications:
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in a field relating
to genetics
Board certification (or board-eligible) from the American Board of
Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG), or equivalent
Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS) license from
the California Department of Public Health
Successful completion of ABMGG fellowship program with a minimum of
2 years experience in a CLIA laboratory
Technical knowledge of laboratory testing and terminology is
required
