Employer Description:Multi-location physical therapy outpatient company with offices in northern San Diego county providing physical therapy, occupational therapy and hand therapy.Compensation:$85k + depending on experience.Benefits Offered:Benefits package including:MedicalDentalCE AllowancePaid vacationsIncentive to earn Hand Therapy CertificationRequirements of the Physical TherapistWe welcome new grads and experienced therapists.Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from accredited college.Current Physical Therapy license in California.We use PracticePro.Job info and responsibilities of the Physical Therapist:We provide general orthopedics care with an emphasis in hand therapy to a mostly adolescent to geriatric patient population, although primarily 35+.On average our physical therapists treat 2 patients per hour.We are looking for a physical therapist to develop and carryout plans of care, supervise PTAs/PT Aides, complete documentation within 24 hours of seeing patients, complete progress notes in a timely manner, deliver full episodes of care, average 2 pts/hour (80 pts/week for full time).You are responsible for your own schedule (e.g tracking patients that have fallen off their schedules) etc.We trust that you are a therapist who is dynamic, flexible, and enthusiastic with strong internal motivation to deliver quality and efficient care.If you also know Spanish it would be helpful but it is not required.Job Type:Full timeSchedule:Mo - Fri exact hours to be worked out.Why you should come work for us:Autonomous practice, we do not force any specific treatment methodologies (just that a full episode of care is delivered each visit).Our dedicated therapists regularly augment their clinical expertise and theoretical knowledge through professional development coursework, peer presentations, and ongoing communication with referring physicians.Our strategically located facilities are easily accessible to patients, physicians, insurance representatives, medical professionals, and healthcare personnel.IND2
