Service Operations Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Service Operations Specialist to install, test, and troubleshoot residential and business services.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment at various sites
Conduct advanced OTDR traces and fiber characterization
Install and troubleshoot voice, data, and video services and associated hardware

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

High school education or equivalent; associate's degree in electronics or networking preferred
5-7 years of telecommunications industry experience
Experience with advanced GPON and fiber-based services and equipment
Knowledge of voice services (SIP) and associated hardware
Ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces
